With over 12 years of experience with the California State Legislature, I know how to translate complicated policy proposals into simple, urgent calls to action. I look forward to helping you reach your policy goals.
Background
Prior to starting my firm, I served as senior legislative and communications staff in the California State Legislature for twelve years. I earned a strong, positive reputation for my expertise on a broad range of complex policy issues, including insurance, anti-poverty efforts, social services, foster care, environmental stewardship, and more. I mastered arcane legislative procedures and developed relationships with Capitol and Executive branch staff, advocates, and reporters. I have led numerous legislative and media campaigns for controversial legislation and budget issues.
